A 25 mile outing today, Minchinhampton to the Dragonfly Cafe near Oaksey, to greet other S. Cotswold 'Wanderers'.
No photos of the venue, but a tech. shot of BF's clutch oil-deflector.
Laugh if you like, but after a couple of hundred miles, the clutch still frees fully (= zero drag), and remains light and progressive in take-up.

Hi ABCers
Well what an exciting month July was! First, there was the wonderful turn out at Founders Day and then there is the mileage for July which is a whopping great 466. This is by far the best monthly mileage figure acheived so far. Can we do it again in August?
The fun was joined by two new gladiators this month Harry in Northern Ireland on "BE" and Neil in Wiltshire on "AU". The first picture this month is BE under some very big skies and then a second at the coastal town of Carlough, Co. Antrim in the company of a Norton.
Meanwhle back in Wiltshire AU gets a special mention for under taking the single longest journey this month of 73 miles on a round trip up and down the Avon Valley. Also both AU and EK turned up at a local pub bike night to give the locals a real treat. The only thing that is rarer than an ABC at the local pub is two ABCs at......you get the idea.
Lastly, a couple of pictures of EK out and about. The first shows EK and pilot trying negotiate the obsticle course at a differnt local pub (both feet up!).
Finally, I took EK to the BMW Airhead day at the Sammy Miller Museum recently, but the BMWs didn't want to be shown up by the ABC (I think they found it diifcult to accept that they weren't first!) and so EK was given it's own special packing place.

Hi ABCers
Here we are again at the start of another month and rapidly running out of summer in the UK. The mileage total was only 145.2miles in August, but that is still better than nothing although I didn't seem to get chance to go ABCing until mid way through the month.
First picture this month is one of our heroic pilot about to leave the pub on WA and geting last minute taxiing instructions from Air Traffic Control.
The next picture was taken at Mudeford Quay near Christchurch, Dorset on Bank Holiday Sunday. This was a round trip of about 56 miles on long the South Coast and was probably mistake (lots of people and traffic)!
Lastly this month a top tip for the die hard ABC rider. It is well worth sorting out some ligthing for your ABC before the evenings drawing in.

Hi ABCers
Due to attending the big annual autojumbles at Beaulieu, Netley Marsh and the VMCC Somerset Section one at Chedder (all on the same weekend!) and a much needed holiday, my own ABC mileage was fairly low in September. Very well done to Neil and AU for helping bring the total up to 138.4 miles.
First this month are a couple of pictures of AU looking good in the company of a 1928 Raleigh Model 26 Super Sports, 350 OHV somewhere in Wiltshire.
Here is a fine shot of the hardened ABCer and the long, long road ahead.
Lastly, this chap asked if he could sit on WA at the "British Bike Bonanza" at the Sammy Miller Museum. Apparently, he thought the ABC was "one of the best bikes ever" and has two of his own!
