After up-tempo turf-churning in the Stanford Hall arena on Sunday, a relatively sedate perambulation on BF last evening to the Daneway Inn, Sapperton.
Phil, please chalk me up 13 miles. (Modesty prevents me from claiming any miles at the Hall, however many laps I did).

Hi ABCers
There is much to report back on this month so lets jump straight in. July was another high mileage month with 569 miles travelled by ABC and that is not including the laps of the arena at Founders Day! The prize for he most miles covered this month must go to Harry who attended both the Antrim Coast Run and the Mountain of Mourne Rally on BE and clocked up an impressive 390 miles.
First a picture of BE under a big sky somewhere in the Mountains of Mourne, Northern Ireland, in the company of a pretty little Calthorpe.
Next, an action shot picture of Harry onboard BE presumably taken from the Calthorpe. This shot was also taken on the recent Mountains of Mourne Rally.
Lastly the monthly picture of EK but this time parked up along side a 1903 curved dash Oldsmobile so that the owner and I could compare leaf springs.
Time for the fun bit!
Now that July is over and August is just beginning I thought it would be interesting to tot up all the mileages since the beginning of the year and provide a sort of results table. To be honest I had meant to do this last month but was too busy getting ready for Founders Day or at least that is my excuse. Total mileage for the for the first seven months of 2025 is a whopping 2304.8 miles! Whoop whoop, that is a lot!
1st - Phil Batten 472.8 miles
2nd - Harry Stitt 472 miles (sorry, Harry you were so close but I just had to ride up to the shop at the end of the road last night!)
3rd - Guy Vickerman 340 miles
4th - Peter Gillespie 280 miles
5th - Andrew Cox 250 miles
6th - Paul Button 214 miles
7th - Tony Crump 118 miles
8th - Keith Sams 90 miles
9th - Alex Stuart-Menteth 68 miles
Congratulation to you all and it is really wonderful that you are all finding time to ride your ABCs and keep the marque alive. If any of you think that your mileages should be higher please just let me know (not you, Harry) and I'll make an adjustment. If anybody else out there wants to join in the fun please do (ride your ABC, record the mileage, take a photo and send it in). The more ABCs the merrier.

Hi ABCers
213 miles have been claimed for August with most of these being done by Tony on MD during his adventures in mainland Europe (see the "European Jolly" report). Meanwhile back in dear old Blighty I manged at the third attempt (broke down the 1st year, and forgot to enter the second year) to complete the Graham Walker Memorial run around the New Forest on what turned out to be a very hot day.
First picture this month is of Tony on a Skootamota. I believe this machine belongs to a young chap called Angus who was also on the "Where is Anna" event in Belgium recently. Angus if you see this please do get in touch and tell us how you got on.
And just for good measure here is the same Skootamota with Angus getting ready for the off.
Lastly, a picture of EK at the 61st Annual Graham Walker Memorial Run in the company of a New Hudson and a Sunbeam.
