Hi.
Concerning joining a crowd at Brooklands.
What about on 11th August 2019?
Event name - Brooklands Relived (1907 -1939):
Contents - Pre-1940s Vehicles, Finishing Straight Race Starts, Test Hill Ascents, Trade Stands, re-enactment groups, Aircraft Fly-in, subject to operational conditions.
Are there any brooklands trust members in our group who are close to the brooklands trust organisers? I’ve spoke to Ralph a few times and know he’s fond of the sopwith abc. I’m pretty sure they would welcome attendance and allow a stand.
I like the idea of a trip to Kingston and the sopwith hq building in canbury park road but there is no real venue that I can think of. The brooklands museum attracts a great crowd.
Attached on the plaques from canbury park road.

The person to contact at Brooklands is Steve Castle (Head of Events). I have spoken with him and providing you are willing to pay entry to the event, he can organise at location for an ABC display of bikes. As an alternative to the 11th August, he also mention the motorcycle day on the 30th June (which is maybe too soon). I am not around for the 11th or 30th, so it would be good if one of the forum takes the lead in contacting Steve and making suitable arrangements.

Hello Keith.
I see you are having an ABC club stand at Founders Day, I am bringing my 1919 Skootamota and would be pleased to add it to the display if there is still room. The bike has been in my family since it was just a few years old and I restored it from a very rusty wreck in 1968, when I was just sixteen!
Best Wishes
