Westall Special

 

I recently got the above photo of the Westall Special at Chichester Speed Trials in 1947. It took me a while to find out what it was, and still not sure of all the parts but it had a blown ABC flat-twin engine. On this site I found a reference saying it survived, but that article was from 1970. Does the special still survive? Does anyone know any more about the car?

Love to see a photo. Exciting find. Can you take a photo with a smart phone? From there maybe Giovanni who manages the web site could get it loaded.

I assume that you are using a computer to login in this site.  If you plug in the USB connector for charging your smartphone into the computer you should be able to transfer pictures to the computer or even attach them directly from it.  If you have a problem let me know the makeof your smartphone  as some need authorisation.
