Proof of Pudding Part I

This refers to putting the advice in the Article "The New Piston/Gudgeon Pin Problem" to the test, Part I being the manufacture and fitting of the aluminium alloy blind bushes.
Chosen material was 6086-T6 bar of 3/4" diameter, readily available on ebay. Its properties are adequate, and it is easy to machine.

Pudding-Proof Part II will follow in due course, I hope, after the model has done a significant amount of road work, with no problems.
