"Cranbury" was created by Paul
This run, a sort of deregulated, hair-down Banbury Rally, was based on the same Gaydon motor-museum complex, and provided a similar style of routes, with one short and one long.
As the Three Musketeers we set fourth at midday, just at the close of a mighty cloudburst. D'Artagnan and Porthos chose the short route, and Athos the long.
D'Artagnan and Porthos made it back to base in the dry, but Athos copped walls of water after about 30 miles on the long drag.
Afterwards, D'Artagnan, strictly a sort of fourth musketeer, was worried by the absence of the original third member of the trio...was he riding with us as a ghost?
But then the penny dropped...Keith was entered in the Banbury-proper the next day...it was he who was Aramis(sing)!

Last edit: 3 hours 19 minutes ago by Paul. Reason: Dumas just tapped me on the shoulder...No. 3 was Aramis, not Artemis!
