Hi Folks,
Following the glad tidings that this year's cancelled Levis Cup Trial will be going ahead after all as a Social Run in memory of Clerk of the Course Martyn Round, I've requested Dave Spencer of the N. Birmingham Section to keep me informed of all progress.
As Keith has announced, Martyn and his extended family were deeply into all ABC products, certainly with a car and several Sopwiths.
Wouldn't it be great for all of us to join in with our ABCs!
I've not ridden in the 'Levis' for some years, but Keith can fill us in on the more-recent nature of the route, its length, and more.
Watch this space...

To continue....Dave Spencer has responded, as per the following.

* VMCC Membership is not necessary
* There is no Entry Fee, although there will be a Donations Box
* Length of run: about 60 miles to a lunch stop in or near Ludlow, and about 30 miles 'home'  Petrol will be available
* Navigation will be by Route Card
* Start time at the Cob House will be 10.00   There is plenty of parking space there
* The Mayfly cafe at the Cob House will be open from 08.00
* All entrants will be awarded a 'Levis' pin-badge
* Depending on the size of the entry, riders will be despatched at 1 minute intervals
