Hi ABCers
So Founders Day is over and done for another year and what a day it was! The ABC highlights this year were Tony's sometimes running WWI balloon blower motor, no less than seven ABCs including six 400cc solo machines, a combination and the very rare 1916 ABC Fore Aft 500. Derek brought along a selection of prints taken from original ABC glass slides for all to see, Keith won best "oily rag" again and Giovani encouraged people take his bike apart (you had to be there)! Lastly, a flight of three ABCs, BF (Paul), MD (Tony) and EK (Phil), very nearly managed 420 laps of the ring to claim a mile towards the mileage challenge, but only nearly. Oh and we had loads of chairs! All in all it was a great and it was lovely to catch up with everyone and spend the day talking ABC. Looking forward to doing it all again next year.
Below are some pictures from the day for you all to enjoy.

Time flies when having fun and we got to 4pm before I even realised. It was really good fun to see you all and take the engine out of my bike in record time.
Derek's pictures are a treasure which I'll try my best to scan as soon as possible and share on the website gallery.
There was so much happening I didn't get a chance to try the cake but, more importantly, I failed to understand if the price for the best oily rag was assigned to Keith's bike or Keith himself as this picture shows.
Cannot wait for the next opportunity to meet you all again!
