1924 ABC car OIL PUMP was created by Andrew Kelsey
Currently looking at the oiling system on the 1924 ABC and trying to find out about the oil pump .
There is little mention in the handbook other than setting the drops per minute and that it is a ‘‘Roto Plunger’
The parts catalogue shows the bits at 1922 prices..
Looking at another site, it seems that a similar pump was used on some Norton bikes of same era
In which case, the pump will have been made ‘ Best and Lloyd ‘
Can anyone help with information at all, please ?

Found that the pump is a ‘Best and Lloyd’ worm drive pump driven off the the camshaft.
It appears was of a type fitted to a variety of motorcycles and and early J.A.P engined Morgans.
Dismantling, cleaning and reseting it has solved the issue.
Incidentally it seems in 19C, the same firm made made precision gas light fittings
A rather unusual trade mark carried on with the pumps!
Managed to find some literature and diagrams of the pump - quite a lot of pages don’t think 8 can attach here?
