ww1 flat twin

Hello all, Can someone please let me know exactly what engine I have? (I have been told it is a generator from ww1). Anyone know how much it is worth? I have had it running! Many thanks, David

You might want to contact J.Kim Siddorn who wrote a book about ABC generators (From Somme to Beverley by way of Sunderland).
Would have been helpful if the label underneath the magneto was still there but I think you're right and it's likely a WW1 trench generator similar to the one pictured in the galley.
