New chain for Skootamota.

Hi. Me again.

Just trying to get the rear wheel all set up and the brakes aligned, but I’m having a problem with the chain.
It seems to have stretched beyond the adjustment for the tensioner. If I take a link out it will be too short and tight.
Does any one know of a supplier for a new vintage sized chain or does any one know if there is a HALF LINK made to suit?

When I needed a chain for my Skoota I ordered it from The Chain man who can also be found at markets around the country.
If it helps, at the time I asked for pitch=1/2" and width=3/16".
They should be able to provide a half link.

try your local bearing man mine sells chains or can get it

I’ll try the Chain main once I have my old chain back from Solent bearings as they have it to find a solution for me.

They are having difficulties matching the old one!

I’ll post the outcome to keep you informed.
