Skootamota wheels and frame set up.

Hi I have just got my wheels back from being assembled and having new tyres fitted.

The hubs were repaired as one of the bearing cases was spit.
Hubs and brakes were nickel plated.
Hubs are 16 inch steel Raleigh pushbike wheels. These were sandblasted and black powder coated.
New stainless steel spokes have been fitted.
New 16 x 2.125 tyres were fitted today.
The only thing that’s a little disappointing is that dimples couldn’t be pressed into the rims for the spokes.

All I need now is a little help to assemble the wheels into the frames.

What order do all the washers, nuts, half nuts tensioner, frame, etc go?
I have no idea as I received the bike as a box of bits.

I need your help as I don’t damage all my hard work.

Hi The nickel plating was done by Cranbourne Plating of Gosport.

Cash job, tell them you’re in no hurry. If your not please with the outcome the will redo the job again at no extra cost.

Hi I’m just getting the hubs assembled and one of the flip top oiler/ grease nipple has just broken off, the lid has snapped.
Has any one got a spare they want to sell?
