scootamota pistons and barrels was created by alex
Hello scootamota people.
I have a number of "new old stock" pistons and barrels for the scootamota.
Quite a find.
I have 9.
They're on the parts page. If anyone who wants one is an engineer, then we could trade?
Also, If anyone knows scootamota's, some of the pictures show what appears to be a pushrod.
Is it scootamota? If so could somebody let me know. I have a number of them too.
Thanks all,
Alex

Hi Can you post some close up shots of the push rod. Are they treaded on end and ball the other??
Cheers Neil.

Hi Niel, I think I may have privately messaged only you. Could you please put my message out there for general viewing? I don't know how.
Thank you.
PS the rods are 154mm long
5mm dia
ball at both ends
Maybe not ABC at all.
Any ideas?
Alex

Hi Alex.
The pushrods May be off an ABC car or another motorcycle using Granville’s twin cylinder engine. They are definitely NOT from the Skootamota engine as they have threaded section on the tappet end.
I have the EOI engine and am after a new single pushrod as mine was very rusty and has suffered major metal lose as a result.
Do you know if the barrels and pistons are definitely from the Skootamotor engine?
There has been a lot of talk on the forum about pistons and barrels.
Regards Neil.

I have the feeling that the barrels are unfinished and have to big holes where there should be threads at the top but i like to buy 3 barrels and 3 pistons anyway.
