We have managed to secure some copies of Kim Siddorn’s booklet "From Somme to Beverley by way of Sunderland". Published in 2009, this 67 page booklet covers the history of ABC stationary engines from World War 1 to the late ‘50s. It’s rich in pictures from catalogues or real engines Kim used to collect and describes in as much detail as possible all those ABC products which are not usually in the spotlight. This is not about cars or bikes but certainly gives some interesting insights into the evolution of our beloved flat twin …until it became a four…and not flat. I will be bringing copies to ABC gatherings throughout the years otherwise I can post it anywhere there's a passionate ABCer.
