Sorry I forgot to reply re my oil leak.
It is primarily through over oiling. After fitting the new piston rings the vacuum pressure presumably increased so it sucked more oil.
Once discovered I reduced the oil supply.
What is the correct or recommended number of drops of oil, I remember a long time ago on a different bike the drip count was 6 per minute at idle. Is the ABC similar ?
There is also a small gearbox leak from one of the gasket faces. This will have to wait as I do not want to pull the motor out again.
Are there any secrets to removing the petrol tank and the engine without damaging the paint ?
Both seem just too tight.
